Xiaogan City Party and Government Observation Delegation Conducted Field Research on the CORNEX Project

On September 26, the secretary of Xiaogan municipal party committee Wu Haitao let the observation delegation of Xiaogan city oarty and government conducted field research on the Cornex project, and had an informal discussion with Cornex chairman Dai Deming and president Huang Feng on seek unity of think to reaching a common understanding, fully deploy and implement all preparations and specific measures, push ahead with project construction and realization of ability and profit, promote high-quality development of Xiaogan city and make contribute to Hubei to accelerate national new development pattern pioneer area construction.Xiaogan municipal committee deputy secretary and mayor Hu Jiuming, director of the municipal people's congress standing committee Deng Daowei, and chairman of the CPPCC Zhang Hanping attended the inspection.

It was a scene of bustling activity at the construction site of the Cornex project in Xiaogan airport economic development zone. Wu Haitao, Hu Jiuming and their party to research and check the progress of the project. At Cornex Wuhan Jiangxia R&D Manufacturing Base, the municipal leaders visited the manufacturing shop, testing center, research institutes and other places to learn more about production process, product development and market exploitation. At the same time, they held a symposium on Cornex project promotion in Xiaogan city to listening to the needs of enterprises, responding to their expectations, and coordinating and solving specific issues face to face.

Wu Haitao and Hu Jiuming pointed out that this investigation marked a new situation of government-enterprises cooperation, the city government will give full support and accept to all needs of enterprises. We thank enterprises for their trust in the government and we will also try our best to support the development of enterprises. The Cornex project has a large scale of investment and strong driving force to enhance industrial strength, change the structure of industry and improve the core competitiveness of xiaogan city which strive to build an important node city in Wuhan metropolitan area. The project settled in Xiaogan is not only a concentrated expression of many advantages, but also embodies the concern of all walks of life and the entrustment of the enterprise, which is worthy of our cherishing. The whole city should seize the development opportunities and support the Cornex project by main force, provide fully support to Cornex development and fulfill government responsibilities around business needs. To meet the reasonable requirements of enterprises is the pursuit of government work. Also, we will strengthen the overall planning of municipal special classes and the direct command of working special classes, so as to solve the problems and difficulties for the project construction with high quality and efficiency. The project construction site should be transformed into cadre education and training classroom. Push forward the process of "three study and three set" which is study in theory, policy and business, set goals, standards and rules, pay attention to training, investigation and identification of project frontline cadres, and lead them to strengthen their knowledge reserve, get familiar with market economy, and overcome difficulties bravely. We should take the development effectiveness of enterprises as the hard standard for evaluating cadres. The Cornec project has strong industrial support and leverage, it is necessary to strengthen the service awareness and reverse the time node to make the service progress faster than the project construction schedule. Meanwhile, we will accelerate the development of strategic emerging industries and promote aggregation of whole industrial chain and magnification effect.

Dai Deming introduced Cornex core business, overall layout and Xiaogan project planning and construction progress. He expressed his gratitude to the municipal party committee and government and the project promotion leading group for their full support. He said, Cornex will make effort to guatantee the construction of the Xiaogan project, ensure that the first phase of the project will be put into production as scheduled next year, and accelerate the second and third phases, help Xiaogan city to build an important global new energy intelligent manufacturing base and promote the transformation and upgrading of Xiaogan's economy. We will repay the support and expectation of Cornex project with practical actions. We hope that the municipal party committee and the government will continue to strengthen coordination and strengthen factor guarantee to expand in-depth cooperation between government and enterprises.
