On May 15, the 17th China International Battery Fair(CIBF) grandly opened at the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center. CORNEX displayed its full-scenario product lineup spanning ESS, EV batteries, and other fields. Breakthrough achievements such as the 472Ah high capacity energy storage cell, "Submerge" battery safety system 2.0, and CTP 3.0 large-surface liquid cooling technology were unveiled, showcasing the company’s strategic vision of "technology leading, full-scenario solutions, and global expansion."


Boundless Innovation: Defining Industry Trends with Core Technologies

As the technical highlight of the exhibition, the 472Ah energy storage battery cell is poised for mass production. With a single-cell capacity breakthrough of 1,510.4Wh—surpassing mainstream industry products by 50%—and a cycle life exceeding 12,000 cycles, this innovation redefines performance benchmarks. Integrated into a 20-foot BESS, it achieves a system capacity of 6.9MWh (overseas regular size 6.28MWh, expandable to 6.9MWh) while reducing the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) by 20%, delivering economically optimized solutions for utility-scale storage plants and commercial & industrial (C&I) storage applications.


On-site, CORNEX unveiled groundbreaking innovations in EV battery cells. The 120Ah high-performance fast-charging cell delivers a gravimetric energy density exceeding 191Wh/kg, supports BEV/XEV 800V high-voltage platforms, and enables driving ranges from 350km to 750km. Featuring 4C fast-charging capability, this solution provides efficient charging and extended driving range for electric vehicles.


In safety technology, CORNEX unveiled its upgraded "Submerge" battery safety system 2.0 and CTP 3.0 large-surface liquid cooling technology. The "Submerge" battery safety system 2.0 employs a novel circulating coolant and grid-based precision control design, slashing battery pack fire suppression time to 6 seconds, improving cooling efficiency by 27%, and reducing coolant storage volume and weight by 98%.


The CTP3.0 technology innovatively integrates "liquid-cooled BDU + CCS/BMS direct connection + intelligent thermal management", achieving over 80% battery pack volumetric efficiency and precise temperature control under extreme temperature differentials. Its heat exchange efficiency improves by more than 20%, with proven applications in several projects with our partners.


Diversified Products: Dual Strategy Building an Energy Ecosystem

Addressing the diversified demands of the global energy transition, CORNEX has forged a strategy of "ESS+EV batteries", constructing a multi-dimensional green energy ecosystem spanning power systems, transportation, and end-user consumption.


At the exhibition, CORNEX showcased flagship products under such strategy. On the energy storage front, alongside the next-gen 472Ah cell, its "π Series" ultra-long cycle life and high-temperature-durable customized solutions attracted significant client interest. For EV applications, over a dozen high-performance EV cells cover models from Mini EVs to C+ segment, pure electric to hybrid, while 21Ah, 230Ah and 324Ah commercial cells are widely used in low-speed vehicles, construction machinery, and marine applications.


As of April 2025, CORNEX has filed nearly 5,000 patents globally, developed over 60 products in ESS and EV battery fields, and advanced technologies across lithium-ion, solid-state, sodium-ion, lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP), and cylindrical cell routes, with over 200 product certifications secured.

To bolster its global strategy, CORNEX has established a technical service network spanning 15 countries and regions, enabling 24/7 rapid response capabilities while securing authoritative international certifications including UL and IEC. Through technological innovation and localized service solutions, CORNEX products have successfully penetrated multiple overseas markets, with its global footprint continuously expanding.


In the European market, the company secured a 2.5GWh strategic cooperation agreement with UK-based Immersa to collaborate on the 5MWh CORNEX M5 BESS container, addressing integrated solar-storage system demands. In the Middle East, CORNEX showcased its high-temperature durable and long cycle life solutions at the Saudi International Solar Energy Exhibition, targeting market share in extreme-heat regions. For South Asia, a 5GWh supply agreement with Indian partners underscores its crucial role in stabilizing local power supply. These strategic moves demonstrate CORNEX's systematic global expansion powered by innovative energy storage technologies.
