On May 7, 2025 (local time), CORNEX showcased its full-scenario energy storage product portfolio at the smarter E Europe. As a key player in Europe's energy transition, the company showcased its 472Ah high capacity energy storage cells and CORNEX M6 battery energy storage container, delivering one-stop energy storage solutions spanning generation-side, grid-side, and user-side applications across European markets.

At the exhibition, engineered for large-scale energy storage scenarios, the 472Ah cell of CORNEX emerged as the central innovation highlight, with breakthrough specifications including: single-cell capacity over 1,510.4Wh, energy density reaching 195Wh/kg, cycle life over 12,000 cycles. By transplanting the materials and production line processes of the Conergy π 314Ah battery cell, the 472Ah cell inherits the multi-dimensional advantages: high reliability, long cycle life, high capacity. And global mass delivery is scheduled to commence June 2025.


The accompanying CORNEX M6 has drawn significant attention from industry partners with its high capacity and enhanced safety features. Equipped with the 472Ah cells, the CORNEX M6 achieves an energy capacity of 6.28MWh and supports long-duration energy storage of 4 hours or more, making it an ideal solution for European grid applications such as peak load regulation and renewable energy integration. Additionally, the M6 offers an optional upgrade with CORNEX’s Submerge battery safety system 2.0, which employs grid-based precision management to boost cooling efficiency by 75%. This innovation ensures elevated system safety while advancing higher integration density and cross-platform compatibility.

At the event, CORNEX unveiled customized product solutions tailored to Europe’s unique demands. To meet the stringent requirements for cost efficiency and operational stability in energy storage, the company introduced two specialized upgrades for its 314Ah and 472Ah battery cells: the Ultra Long Cycle Life Solution and the High Temperature Durable Solution.


By integrating advanced technologies such as cathode pre-lithium modification, activation process optimization, electrolyte formulation improvements, and material surface coating technologies, this solution significantly enhances lithium-ion battery cycle stability. The Long π 314Ah and 472Ah cells now achieve “zero degradation in five years” with a cycle life extended to 15,000 cycles, ensuring long-term reliability for synchronized PV-matched cycle life.


Designed for Europe’s wide temperature ranges, this innovation optimizes electrolyte compositions and upgrades electrode materials. The cells now deliver capacity retention rates at 30°C and 35°C comparable to conventional cells operating at 25°C. Benefits include: thermal management costs reduction, enhanced performance consistency, superior adaptability to diverse climatic conditions.
